Renewable energy is harnessed through solar panels, meeting 30% of energy needs. The desalination plant paired with EcoPure purification system provide drinking water in reusable bottles, while treated gray water irrigates gardens, underscoring Bandos’ commitment to environmental stewardship.

Bandos Maldives is a nature loving gateway that effortlessly blends eco-friendly practices into its daily routine. By embracing green initiatives, energy-saving technologies, and waste reduction
strategies, the resort not only offers guests a luxurious experience but also gives them the chance to make a positive impact on the environment. By implementing the re-use of glass water bottles we have successfully decreased our plastic bottle usage by approximately 250,000 bottles per year. Our gardens yield approximately 400 kg of vegetables and over 2,000 coconuts per month
